Super Green Pass
Starting from January the 10th, the admittance to museums, archeological sites but also restaurants and public tranportation will be allowed only to those holding the Super Green Pass. This new rules means that you must be vaccinated ( with the 3rd shot done) or recovered from Covid-19 in the last six months.
If you’re not from EU, do not panic.
Showing your certificate of vaccination issued by your goverment will be OK.
But check your vaccination date. It has to be not longer than 6 months ago
if you’re not vaccinated recently you’re going to miss many activities in Rome, so plan your trip accordigly.
Doing a PCR test before your Vatican/Colosseum tour is not enough anymore.
Masks are required indoor and outdoor (FFp2 masks required for trains, buses and cinemas). No other restrictions in Rome for the moment.
